Tunnel of Terror is Saturday, October 24, 2026, 5–9pm at San Jose City Hall Plaza, 200 E Santa Clara St, San Jose. Free Halloween fest presented by Opera San José with the City of San José Office of Cultural Affairs. Live performances of opera, theater, and pop hits like Phantom of the Opera, Thriller, and Monster Mash; a lowrider display and trunk-or-treat with the United Lowrider Council of San José; roaming street performers from Circus of Sin; and a spooky night market with local makers and family crafts. Costume contests award $100 to a youth winner at 6:45pm and $500 to an adult winner at 7:45pm. Dog-friendly and family-friendly; costumes welcome.
