The 54th Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival takes over historic Main Street Saturday–Sunday, October 17–18, 9am–5pm: giant pumpkins, three music stages, the Great Pumpkin Parade at noon Saturday, pie-eating, costumes, and 250 art booths. Free admission. Hwy 92 backs up — leave early or take the coast.
