Angel Island State Park is open sunrise to sunset, every day: the immigration station museum, a perimeter cove walk, and a ridge with a full-bay view. Ferry from San Francisco or Tiburon is the cost; the park itself is a modest landing fee (included in the Golden Gate Ferry ticket). Go on a clear day or don’t bother.
